Chosen by Hockey Alberta

A local certified athletic therapist has been chosen by Hockey Alberta to be a therapist for the women’s hockey program during the 2018 Alberta Winter Games.

The games take place Feb. 16-19 in Fort McMurray/Wood Buffalo.

Paige Shannon is excited by the opportunity.

“I’m very much looking forward to the opportunity to work with new coaching staff and new athletes over the course of the weekend,” she says. “I’m very excited to learn from other therapists and experience the atmosphere of being involved in the provincial games.

“I’m very appreciative to Hockey Alberta for the opportunity and to my colleagues for their support and kind words.”
