Library is convenient for many reasons

Did you know that September is Library Card Sign-up Month?

This September, get the most important school supply of all ñ a library card.

Reading reduces stress, helps children develop skills for lifelong success and can even improve life expectancy.

Olds Municipal Library has a variety of programs and resources for all ages. Our offerings include free children’s programs, a 24-7 e-library and award-winning cyber seniors programming.

Every day we help people connect with the global community with our free computer lab. Plus, we have a dedicated team of librarians who can help you pick your next great read.

Some of our hidden features include a digital membership to thousands of daily newspapers worldwide.

We have technology loans ranging from iPads to pedometers to help make your life better.

And, thanks to Me Libraries, you can travel Alberta with a single library card and borrow materials almost anywhere.

Many people are surprised to learn that you can check out a book, DVD or audio book while you’re on vacation in Jasper and return it locally in Olds; talk about a convenient library card.
