 OBITUARIES

BRANDT
Richard Herman Brandt died suddenly July 29, 2010, at 77 years of age. He was born in 1932 in Iowa, U.S.A. He is survived by loving wife Ingrid of 50 years, daughter Valerie, son Greg, and sister Lucille. Richard loved his family, loved people, respected his neighbours and was always willing to give a helping hand. His fondness for farming lasted right to the end. Most importantly, he had a deep respect for the Word of God, the Bible and took seriously the wisdom it contained and tried to help others to appreciate it also. (Matthew 28: 19, 20) A memorial service will be held at the Olds Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 6220 - 53 Street, Olds, AB., Saturday, August 14, 2010, at 2 p.m. Lunch will follow at Deer Meadow School. All welcome.
