A vehicle stolen from Calgary was found recently being driven by an Olds man now charged with possession of stolen property.

On July 22 around 11:30 a.m., police stopped a white 1986 Ford Ranger in the area of 65 Avenue and 46 Street.

“We received information of a 27-year-old male from Olds who was driving a white, stolen Ford Ranger,” said Olds RCMP Cpl. Troy Byrt.

During the traffic stop, both the driver and passenger in the vehicle were arrested.

Police confirmed the vehicle had been stolen from Calgary July 13.

The 27-year-old driver from Olds was charged with possession of stolen property and released to appear in Didsbury provincial court in October.
